About the course
We are in a climate emergency. The actions we all choose to take over the next decade will decide whether we succeed or fail to meet the biggest challenge to our civilisation in the 21st century.
In this course, you'll gain a deeper understanding of core climate concepts such as mitigation, adaptation, climate justice, carbon foot-printing, net zero and solutions frameworks. We'll look at some of the key players in crafting solutions, such as governments, big business – and you!
You’ll uncover your own potential to create a positive impact and be equipped with practical, actionable steps to address the Climate Crisis head on.
Taught by instructors with decades of experience in climate change and online learning, this course is a collaboration between leading experts in the University of Edinburgh and the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.
