EDIVET: Do you have what it takes to be a veterinarian?

This course, brought to you by the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh, is designed to give you a taster of topics covered during the first year of a degree in veterinary medicine at the University.

It will help support you to make the right decision for your career and gain a wider understanding in studying Veterinary Studies.  

In this course, you will learn about:

• Basic animal care
• An introduction to body systems anatomy
• Veterinary professional skills
• An introduction to clinical skills
• The past, present and future of veterinary medicine 

This course is for anyone interested in learning more about Veterinary Medicine, giving a “taster” of courses covered in the first year of a veterinary degree and an idea of what it is like to study Veterinary Medicine. If you’re thinking about studying vet medicine at university, then this is the ideal introductory course.
