About the course
This course is the second step of three progressive steps to complete our beginners level in Russian.
In this course, which is taught in Russian, you will learn to hold a short conversation about yourself, your family, work and hobbies, talk about languages you speak and countries you have been to as well as order food and drinks in a restaurant.
You will develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a variety of learning activities in class and at home. Class-based activities include small-group role-plays, responding to short texts, listening to dialogues or watching video clips. Language learning requires regular practice, and you will consolidate your skills at home, with vocabulary, grammar and writing exercises.
You will need to buy two textbooks (see below). You will also need access to a computer or another device with an internet connection to be able to use our learning platform.
